At the closing event for the Get Some Chalk On Your Boots! exhibition at the Glass Tank sound artists Shirley Pegna and Paul Whitty will be investigating the seismic activity generated by footballers as they move across the turf; as they make a sudden change of direction; jump for a header or fall to the ground. They will be testing out their new work footfall with footballers from local grassroots teams and inviting the audience to listen to the sound of the footballers articulating the space. You can experience footfall from 1.00-2.00 outside the Glass tank gallery at Oxford Brookes University. Here is some documentation of tests Shirley and Paul made earlier in the week:
